Scope of Work

  • Set boxes for three vanity sconces on the existing switch
  • Added outlets on both sides of the vanity and one for a towel warmer
  • Laid out new canless LEDs, including one in the shower
  • Wired 8 feet of toe-kick lighting on a motion sensor
  • Moved the heated floor thermostat into the toilet room
  • Wired for two Panasonic WhisperFans, one with a light

This primary bathroom in Camas is getting a full remodel, and it came with a long electrical list. Ryan and the crew spent about 8 hours on the rough-in, working off the remodeler’s layout.

The vanity

Three sconces go over the new double vanity, all on the existing switch. We added an outlet on each side of the vanity, right by the towel hooks, and a wire for a client-supplied speaker inside the vanity. There’s also 8 feet of toe-kick lighting under the cabinets on a motion sensor, so it comes on when you walk in at night.

Lights and fans

We laid out the new canless LEDs: three down the middle from the door, one in the shower and one just outside it, with a spot for a ceiling speaker between those two. The two closet fixtures are getting changed to canless lights, and we flipped the closet switch to the other side of the wall.

Both exhaust fans are being replaced with Panasonic WhisperFans. The one in the toilet room has a light, and it keeps its two switches, one for the light and one for the fan.

Heated floor and towel warmer

We checked the existing heated floor wiring. Its thermostat is moving to the toilet room side of the wall. We also added an outlet for a towel warmer.

Our bathroom remodel electrical page covers fans, lighting and the rest.
